She said that the rationale for her boss's personal e-mail server is more simple than critics may suspect. “I've encountered this a lot in politics where people think that the answer is a lot more complicated than it really is.” Regarding Clinton’s decision to have a private server, Palmieri admitted, “she didn’t really think it through.”
