Kondracke claims Kemp was the “real compassionate conservative,” saying he would be “deeply unhappy” with today’s GOP. Asked if he could see a glimmer of Kemp in any of the current crop of GOP candidates, Barnes says Kemp would like the tax plans of Donald Trump and Jeb Bush.
