Being a dominant offensive force in the league, this Utah Jazz legend could not help but keep himself out of controversies even during his peak years. One of the biggest of them was impregnating a 13-year-old.
To those who are not aware, this crazy story of how Karl Malone impregnated a 13-year-old child when he was a 20-year-old student in college. He further chose not to parent the child as well and never went to Jail for it. Just like in the NBA, Malone was a basketball star in college and there he met and impregnated 13-year-old Gloria Bell. She gave birth to Demetrius Bell who would go on to be drafted by the Buffalo Bills. As surprising as the incident sounds, people often inquire why Bell and her family didn’t press charges against Malone. This remains to be the biggest controversy of Karl Malone. However, this incident goes on to show how one of the most special NBA talents completely changed the life of a minor. But maybe this was just a part of who really Karl Malone was.
