56:13Now PlayingThis is the second battle of the "Brown's Raid" reenactment at Fort Ticonderoga, on September 12, 2015. I was with the 23rd Regiment of Foot, the Royal Welch Fusiliers. The battle itself begins ~21 minutes into the video.
The second day's battle saw the Royal Welch deployed further afield, expecting an enemy advance along a dirt road from the woods. As it turns out, the rebels had marched around and directly to assault the main army, which forced us to march back as fast as possible to rescue the army. -
