31:26Now PlayingThe second battle of the Redcoats and Rebels weekend at Old Sturbridge Village in Massachusetts.
The traitors of Sturbridge having betrayed His Majesty's trust and once again taking arms against his lawful rule, the men of the 23rd found themselves again serving as light infantrymen to meet the gathering rebel force. Advancing rapidly in the van under the command of the Greys and 64th Lights, we formed in open order before the massed foe. Though we put up a hellish fire, concentrated cannonshot and overwhelming numbers broke our left flank, and forced our retreat. Offering the foe a series of devastating volleys on the retreat, we inflicted many casualties though were ultimately forced to concede our ground.
After the battle, there was a rather lighthearted display of Georgian medical technique on those wretches unfortunate enough to come under the surgeon's blade.
