This video from the Smithsonian, inappropriately titled "Why a Dreyse Needle Gun Beats a Musket Rifle in Every Way," seemingly sought to prove beyond a doubt that the Dreyse rifle was undoubtedly an improvement over its contemporary muzzle-loading rifled muskets. But, the "experiment" it conducted to do this was a little less than scientific, and quite historically deaf.
