She was protesting in the 2020 uprising against racism along with 35 million others throughout the country. She was arrested and recently convicted of “high and aggravated breach of the peace,” although there was no injury or property damage involved. She has several children at home–and she’s pregnant.
Her son Antonio Martin and Dr. Candace Brewer, civil rights activist & organizer to free Brittany Martin, National President for the National Racial Justice Network, and Founding President of SC P.O.S.T., explain the fight for her freedom.
