YouTube Description
as posted by the channelMahmoud Al-Ardah is a former Palestinian prisoner. He was just released after 32 years in Israeli captivity. In 2021, Al-Ardah and five others escaped Gilboa Prison through a tunnel they had dug using kitchen tools. Although all those who escaped through the “Freedom Tunnel” were recaptured, the Gilboa Prison Escape became a legendary moment in the Palestinian prisoners’ struggle. Al-Ardah was first imprisoned at the age of 17. Last month, he was released as part of the prisoner exchange, and deported to Egypt.
