After a six-day march through the Andes, thousands of Evo Morales supporters converged in La Paz on Monday as part of the “March for Life” protest against U.S.-backed far-right president Rodrigo Paz.
The march began May 12 in Caracollo, while protests — led by unions and farmers — started two weeks ago. Protestors are demanding Paz’s resignation and an end to legal proceedings against Morales.
