The 4B movement is starting to hit TikTok in a big way, with creators encouraging women to divorce their husbands as a way to fully decenter men. But is this actually liberation, or just another reaction rooted in pain? Decentering men can be a powerful tool for reclaiming autonomy, but when it turns into isolation or blanket rejection, we have to ask who it really serves. We also need to talk about decentering men, in general! Is our goal to be healthy and happy? Or is it to focus our energy on avoiding men?
