In this video I’m responding to your comments about decentering men and how capitalism plays into all of it. A lot of people hear “decenter men” and think it means hate men or avoid relationships, but that’s not really the point. We’re talking about how systems shape what we prioritize, who we rely on, and why so many relationships feel imbalanced in the first place. I go through some of your pushback, where I agree, where I don’t, and why it’s actually hard to “center yourself” when everything around you is built to keep you attached, dependent, and performing certain roles. It’s messy, it’s nuanced, and honestly there aren’t easy answers here.
