For the 25th anniversary of September 11, Captain Steeeve returns to one of the most personal stories of his life.

On September 10, 2001, First Officer Steve Scheibner packed his suitcase and waited for the call confirming his assignment to fly American Airlines Flight 11 from Boston to Los Angeles. That call never came. Instead, Captain Tom McGuinness ultimately occupied the seat Steve expected to fill.

Twenty-five years later, In My Seat looks back on the events surrounding Flight 11 with new perspective, remembrance, and reflection. Steve is joined by family members as they revisit the story, the people behind it, and the lasting impact of a day that changed aviation, America, and countless lives forever.

This special anniversary episode honors those who were lost, remembers the families forever affected, and reflects on what it means to carry these stories forward 25 years later.
