0:53Now PlayingEdmonton’s newest public high school, Elder Dr. Francis Whiskeyjack opens this week in the Meadows neighbourhood. The school will welcome students in a phased approach, starting with 850 students in grades 10 and 11 this year. Grade 12 will be added next year. It’s a whopping 21,818 square metres, with 103 classrooms and room for 2,400 students.
The school is Edmonton public’s first new high school since Dr. Anne Anderson High School opened in 2021.
