4:15Now Playing"Cenk Uygur () host of The Young Turks discusses a Connecticut girl who has asked not to undergo chemotherapy to state courts.
The issue of being allowed to end your own life due to medical illness, or euthanasia, has always been a very touchy and hot button subject. But for one Connecticut teen, Jackie Fortin, the issue was very clear; she did not want to be treated with chemotherapy despite her parents wishes. Her appeal to end her treatment to the state department was rejected and she has been on several months of treatment and her cancer is in remission. But with this good news the issue is still clear. Do we as humans have the right to a death of our choosing once we're diagnosed with a life treating illness? The topic is set to be an issue for many states in the years to come."
