"On Wednesday, Democratic candidate Bernie Sanders declared his support for lifting federal constraints on pot. “In my view, the time is long overdue for us to remove the federal prohibition on marijuana,” Sanders said.
"In the year 2015, it is time for the federal government to allow states to go forward as they best choose," Sanders said at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia, CNN reported. Sanders said pot businesses in states where the drug is legal should be allowed to operate without fear of a federal crackdown and that the monumental number of drug arrests is a sign of a broken criminal justice system…
