1:04Now PlayingA US Marine veteran's arm was broken as he was removed from a senate hearing for protesting against the war on Iran.
The marine, identified as Brian McGinnis, shouted during a subcommittee meeting that "nobody wants to fight for Israel".
US Senator Tim Sheehy said he had helped security personnel trying to remove him from the room. As attempts were made to remove the veteran from the room his arm appeared to break.
Sheehy, who is a former Navy SEAL, called McGinnis "unhinged" in a social media post and that he "decided to help out and deescalate the situation."
McGinnis was arrested and faces counts of assaulting a police officer, resisting arrest and unlawful demonstration.
