Ahmed had been serving a 22 year sentence for 30 counts of child rape when he was released.
But so far Pakistan has insisted it won't take Ahmed back.

We spoke to Shahzad Akbar, a Pakistani political dissident. Akbar is a former aide of the country's previous prime minister Imran Khan, who is himself in jail on corruption charges, which he argues are politically motivated.
Akbar, who currently lives in the UK, is accused of spreading propaganda by the Pakistani government.
