12:38Now PlayingWhy is Russia threatening the UK?
Ukraine has just launched one of its largest attacks since the war began - allegedly aiming British-made drones at Russia.
The Kremlin has told the UK there will be “consequences”.
But Britain said it was committed to giving Ukraine the “equipment it needs to defend itself against Russia”, and Prime Minister Andy Burnham said the UK would be there “in Ukraine’s hour of need”.
Ukraine’s latest barrage is one of its largest attacks on Russia since the war started.
In the last three days, Ukraine fired more than 1,400 drones towards Russia - with many aiming for Moscow.
Seven deaths were reported across Russia. In that time, 17 Ukrainians were reportedly killed by Russian strikes.
So, how involved is the UK with this war, and is the conflict any closer to ending? In this episode of the breakdown, we speak to Natia Seskuria, Senior Research Fellow for Russian and Eurasian Security at the Royal United Services Institute.
