The electoral commission has distributed some sensitive materials to the polling booths ahead of the election to ensure that accreditation, scheduled to begin by 8:00 will be achieved.
The distribution was monitored by independent election observers and security personnel.
Channels Television's political correspondent Seun Okinbaloye said that the electoral commission had dispatched officials for the election that is seen as a test for the commission ahead of the 2015 general elections.
