Accreditation began by 8:00am local time at different polling booths and Channels Television's political correspondent, Seun Okinbaloye, says the process has been peaceful so far with security personnel on ground.
Independent observers, INEC officials spoke with him and they said that the accreditation process had been orderly.
Electorates on queue are demanding that the accreditation should be made faster.
