On a Channels Television programme, Sunrise Daily, on Monday, he said that Atiku had got the necessary experience that would give him an upper hand in the primaries.
"A lot of things stand Atiku out in this present dispensation in terms of experience, vision capacity to deliver and in so many occasions he has proven this.
"He has understudied a very strong President, Olusegun Obasanjo, that provided a strong platform for governance in Nigeria.
"Today Atiku believes he has what it takes to deliver Nigeria," he said.
