4:14Now PlayingThe Senators of the Unity Forum have denied withdrawing a suit they filed over allegations of forgery of the Senate Standing Orders 2015 used for the inauguration of the 8th Senate.
Before the denial of the alleged withdrawal, the chairman Senate Ad-hoc Committee on Media and Publicity, Senator Dino Melaye, had commended members of the Forum for withdrawing the suit.
Senator Melaye said that the withdrawal of the suit had demonstrated that national interest was superior to individual and group interest.
"The development has put to shame divisive elements who wanted to ridicule the 8th Senate," he said.
But in this video, he spoke further about suit, expressing surprise that they Forum denied withdrawing the suit.
