He pointed out that over the years, different heads of the judiciary, at their inaugurations always identified corruption as the challenge facing the judiciary.
"Even at the NBA level, you must have read inaugural speeches, where they identified corruption as a problem bedevilling the judiciary.
"I agree that allegations were raised against the judges, but they have also behaved like common criminals," he stressed.
On a letter that one of the indicted judges wrote to the National Judicial Council (NJC), he said the content was laughable, questioning why the that a judge had waited so long to inform the NJC of such alleged bribery case.
"It is laughable that a judge, who swore an oath, would desecrate the judiciary in the letters, saying that somebody approached them to compromise their oath."
He pointed out that the law required them to report the issue.
"How come he is reporting an alleged attempt to compromise the temple of justice months after it had occurred?, he questioned.
