It is a 30-minute current affairs programme which offers in-depth reporting, focusing on stories behind the news and their impact on its audience. Gist Nigeria is broadcast at 9pm on Wednesdays on all platforms on Channels TV and Channels 24 (UK) on Sky 518 for UK viewers.
It's been a great partnership between the two media giants who share same core editorial values. Chairman /CEO of Channels Media Group, Mr John Momoh says he is happy with the impact the programme has made on its numerous viewers while the BBC's Director , World Service describes the partnership as his organisation's first co-production in Africa and expressed his delight at the originality the programme produces for the Nigerian audience .
