Softbank-owned Boston Dynamics released a new video of its Spot robot helping with inspections on construction sites in Tokyo. The company plans to produce about 100 SpotMini robots in the next year. They will be for sale in 2019.
Boston Dynamics is testing its robotic dog for commercial uses. The robot is shown carrying specialized equipment that can survey work progress and it has a camera in its hand to perform detailed inspections.
The company also released a video of its humanoid robot Atlas performing parkour tricks.
