Millions of dollars have been spent, and years have been devoted to diversifying tech workforces and being more inclusive, yet women still only make up an average of 32% of 10 major US tech companies, Latinx employees make up an average of 8%, Black employees make up an average of 7% and Indigenous employees make up an average of 0.5%. These percentages are not representative of the greater US population, according to the Census Bureau. CORRECTION (August 17, 2020): An earlier version of this video incorrectly characterized George Zimmerman. He was a member of the neighborhood watch, not a police officer.
