NJ lawmaker admits the current gun control bills have nothing to do with criminals, just controlling law-abiding responsible citizens.
The NJ Concealed Carry law (NJ Bill A4769 S3214 ) is designed to make getting a license to carry so complex that very few will be able to do it.
They want the process to obtain a carry permit to be extremely confusing, to require way too much time, and/or they want you to be unable to afford it.
The laws turn Second Amendment rights to carry into a privilege for the rich elite, and now no one can say I'm lying because bozo over here (Assembly bill’s primary sponsor, Joe Danielsen) just proved it when he said this:
"The last thing I want to say to people, and some of my own Democrats have commented to me, this does nothing [to] stop the illegal gun trade, or the illegal criminal, illegal possessions, or criminal content and… you're right. This doesn't. It was never supposed to address that. This is addressing the legal, law abiding, responsible citizens. That's what it's designed to do."
Making it illegal for law-abiding citizens to carry a gun for self-defense makes it easier for criminals to murder and harder for law-abiding citizens to stop criminals from murdering.
That's common sense that clearly isn't very common in the age of government worship and over dependence.
