The fourth part in our series on Rand Paul's plan to free your health care focuses on individual risk pools.
Current law makes it difficult for individuals to voluntarily come together and buy insurance as a group.
Rand Paul's bill would let organizations insure their members, even across state lines. This could be you church, you gym, or any other group of people who want to be insured together.
Insurance works by spreading the risk around, so the larger the pool, the less you pay. Individual risk pools give people a new way to save money on health care.
