as posted by the channelIn 1951, comic book writer Jerry Siegel wrote a letter to DC. Despite creating one of the most successful superhero franchises, Siegel was living in poverty — he had signed away ownership as part of the publishing deal.
In his letter, Siegel wrote: "“As long as I live, and afterwards, I shall haunt you and yours. Before God, I put a curse on you.”
His curse has become something of a Hollywood urban legend, with high-profile tragedies fueling speculation that maybe it was real.
