White, who taught kindergarten at the school a year before the shooting, said the child had previously assaulted her. She recalled an incident in which JT allegedly walked up behind her during class and placed her in a headlock, refusing to let go. White said she struggled to breathe before a teacher’s assistant intervened and pulled the child off of her.
