33:56Now Playing23-year-old Kayla Hodgson was found stabbed to death in her Tamarac, Florida apartment on July 13, 2022. Investigators traced flight records, surveillance footage, and a fake Uber account to Sakiyna Thompson, a Queens, New York woman who was jealous that her ex-boyfriend had started a new relationship with Kayla. Thompson flew to Florida, showed up at Kayla's door at 5 a.m., and carried out a brutal attack before changing into the victim's clothes, attempting to clean the scene, and fleeing back to New York. She was arrested three weeks later, convicted of first-degree murder in October 2025 after just one hour of jury deliberation, and sentenced to life without parole.
