Da'Quell accessed a firearm in their home and shot himself in the head. Collins pleaded guilty to two felony charges related to the case. Her defense wanted her to be released on probation, but the judge refused, sentencing her to spend three years in prison, followed by three years of extended supervision. The courtroom erupted as the sentence was handed down.
