26:52Now PlayingThe trial against Kianna Davis began earlier this week. She is accused of beating and killing her 2-year-old, Karter Ambrose, in November 2020. The state claims that the courtroom will hear evidence that the toddler’s injuries occurred 1-3 days prior to his death and that the evidence is going “to bury her.” The defense claimed there is no direct evidence that Kianna inflicted any blows to the child and that she is not guilty. Davis’ ex-boyfriend, Kiyon Benton, is also facing charges in relation to the toddler’s death.
