Kramer claims he feared for his life when Rosa allegedly confronted him inside their home. He testified that she slammed her hand on a dresser near a gun and that he believed he was in danger. Kramer says he then grabbed the firearm and fired, killing Rosa and injuring their dog, Cody. The defense argues the shooting was an act of self-defense as Kramer faces trial in Rosa’s death.
