During C-SPAN's September 24th, 2002 Washington Journal program, Representative Bob Filner (D-CA) and Representative Joe Wilson (R-SC) talked about U.S. policy toward Iraq and congressional resolutions on the issue. Representative Wilson serves on the House Armed Services Committee and is in favor of U.S. military action against Iraq. Representative Filner is opposed to the President's policy on Iraq and is a co-sponsor of a resolution calling for the U.S. to work with the U.N. to "ensure Iraq is not developing weapons of mass destruction" through weapons inspections and "other peaceful means."
