2:59Now PlayingIn testimony Tuesday before the Jan. 6 committee, Arizona Speaker of the House Russell Bowers described phone calls he received from President Trump and Rudy Giuliani, during which they pressured the Republican speaker to decertify his state's legitimate electors and replace them with Trump electors.
"You are asking me to do something against my oath, and I will not break my oath," Speaker Bowers recalled telling them, noting that he repeatedly asked for evidence of their fraud claims but never received any.
"I did not want to be used as a pawn," he told the committee.
