President Joe Biden talks about the wildfires in Maui. The death toll stands at almost 100, but with well over 1,000 people still unaccounted for, that number is expected to climb.

President says he reassured Hawaii that it will have everything it needs from the federal government and that he and First Lady Jill Biden plan to travel to Hawaii as soon as they can without getting in the way of the rescue and recovery efforts.

We talk with Bloomberg News Senior Reporter Zoe Tillman about what is next after the latest indictment of former President Donald Trump in Georgia, along with 18 other defendants, charged with racketeering for alleging conspiring to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election in that state.

Secretary of State Antony Blinken says efforts to bring home Americans wrongfully detained in Iran are not linked to attempts to prevent Iran from developing nuclear weapons.

The Secretary also defends the Biden Administration's handling of the U.S. military's withdrawal from Afghanistan on this second anniversary of the Taliban takeover of Kabul.
