Washington Today (4-24-24): Spkr Johnson at Columbia Univ denounces antisemitism of Gaza protesters

President Joe Biden signs into law a $95 billion foreign aid bill providing money for Ukraine, Israel, Palestinians, and Taiwan, after the Senate passed it late Tuesday night. President says, "It's a good day for America, it's a good day for Europe and it's a good day for world peace."

The foreign aid bill also includes a requirement that Bytedance, Chinese parent company of the TikTok video app, sell the app or have it banned in the U.S. We will talk about what happens next with Shira Ovide, author of the Washington Post's Tech Friend newsletter. (10)
