Washington Today (4-28-25): White House touts border security as first of First 100 Days successes

White House kicks off a week of marking President Donald Trump's first 100 days in office with a focus on immigration. Border czar Tom Homan says 139,000 illegal immigrants have been deported so far.

Congress is back in session after a two-week recess, with committee starting to write their portions of the budget reconciliation bill, what the president calls the 'one big beautiful bill' with tax cuts, spending cuts, plus more money for border security and defense.

The House is voting on a bill that already passed the Senate requiring websites remove non-consensual intimate deepfake images, commonly called 'revenge porn.'
