“I was an hour away,” Trump said. “We were all set to go — it would’ve been happening right now.”
President Trump referenced a Truth Social post from Monday, saying several Middle Eastern officials and leaders urged him to hold off on military action to allow negotiations to continue, despite his criticism of Iran’s role in the region.
“Iran’s been the bully of the Middle East for 47 years. They’re nasty, very dangerous, they wanted a nuclear weapon.”
