as posted by the channelPresident Trump declined Tuesday to specify what would constitute an Iranian violation of the ceasefire after both sides traded fire on Monday at the start of a U.S.-led operation to reopen the Strait of Hormuz.
“Well, you’ll find out, because I’ll let you know,” he told a reporter when asked what would be considered a violation of the truce. “They know what to do, and they know what not to do, more importantly.”
Iran launched missiles and drones at the United Arab Emirates on Monday for the first time since the ceasefire was reached on April 7. They also fired upon U.S. military vessels, with the U.S. in kind sinking six Iranian speedboats.
“They fired them in little boats, with peashooters,” he said. “You know why? Because they don’t have any boats anymore.”
