California gun laws are among the strictest in the country, yet those strict laws (again) did not prevent this from happening.
We have stopped looking to mental health care as a solution and instead the media and Democrats have focused on ‘guns’, ignoring mental health as the issue. Chris notes that mental health issues come with a lot of shame in the Asian/American community - and breaking through that stigma is an important part in helping people improve their overall mental health.
Never forget the end result if more restrictions are implemented: “making good people helpless, does not make bad people harmless.”
