True racism's definition is not as simple as saying something about race that makes another person feel uncomfortable. True racism requires a belief in supremacy -- and that supremacy is often established and perpetuated by larger systems. Racism is a set of beliefs backed by power and marked by historic oppression. Before you use the word, think about its full meaning. Anyone is capable of racial prejudice. Not everything racially prejudiced is true racism.
