Russia has deservedly received a ton of backlash from their anti-gay laws.

As part of this backlash, gay rights activists are calling for a boycott of Russian products including Russian vodkas, specifically Stoli Vodka.

Stoli Vodka has been outspoken in their support of the gay community, going as far as adding a pro-LGBT message to their website and making a statement that they are not in agreement with the Russian government.

Should gay bars and the rest of the gay community be boycotting Stoli, or is this an unfair and indirect way to raise awareness about what is going on in Russia?
