He discusses how defamation and slander from the left have sadly become a normal part of public discourse in our cancel culture world. Nick discusses the political evolution of Bill Maher since his days on Politically Incorrect and his consistency on the issues of free speech and freedom of expression. He also reminds us of the censorship wave of the 1990s when Republicans like Bob Dole and Democrats like Bill Clinton were worried about the levels of violence on cable TV. Nick warns about the imminent danger that Joe Biden’s fiscal policy puts us in. The government budget and national debt continue to increase exponentially as Democrats demand even more stimulus checks. How much can government expenditure rise before a market crash brings us back to reality? This debt bomb and endless money printing can only end in disaster. Laws like the COVID relief bill and the infrastructure plan seem to have little to do with COVID or infrastructure and more to do with using public debt to reward Democrat special interest groups. Despite the government's parade of failures during the COVID pandemic, people seem to desire even more big government with support for ideas like mandating a vaccine passport. Nick also addresses positive developments like the ending of the war on drugs and the legalization of marijuana in numerous states. Nick reveals the quickest way to make any centrist or moderate flip and become a libertarian. He also gives his thoughts on if there is any difference between classical liberalism and libertarianism. Nick also talks about how the COVID 19 vaccine and vaccine rollout are triumphs of the private sector and a great example of the government creating successful incentives. He also discusses the extreme waste of the COVID relief package and the disastrous results of the lockdowns where governments decide who the essential workers are.
