6:02Now PlayingLindsey Graham wants to seize Kharg Island. He admits Americans will die. He's fine with it. The only question is whether Graham has ever looked at a map.
Kharg Island is where Iran processes 90% of its oil. Sounds like a smart target — until you realize every drop of that oil still has to travel through the Strait of Hormuz . The same strait Iran controls. The same strait that's a killbox for any ship that tries to pass without Tehran's permission.
Meanwhile, Saudi Crown Prince MBS is calling Trump daily, pushing him to commit US ground troops to finish off Iran. The Saudi government is denying this. Of course they are.
So: MBS wants American kids to die in a war that benefits Saudi Arabia. Lindsey Graham is happy to be the sales rep. And nobody in Washington seems to have noticed the geography problem.
One sunken ship clogs the Strait of Hormuz indefinitely. Iran knows this. Graham apparently doesn't. Seizing Kharg island without controlling the strait is like stealing a car with no wheels.
