16:03Now PlayingIn today’s homily, Fr. Chris Alar, MIC, reflects on Jesus’ command to “repay to Caesar what belongs to Caesar and to God what belongs to God” (Mt 22:21). Just as Caesar placed his image on coins to show what belonged to him, so too has God placed His own image on each of us from the moment of our creation. Father Chris reminds us that we are called to be faithful citizens in society, respecting civil law, but always remaining aligned with God’s law. When society denies or contradicts the law of God, we must stand firm in faith and remember that our lives, our souls, and our ultimate loyalty belong to God.
