According to Welven and his manager Anthony "Lefty" Bradford - who has been recording Welven for the past four years - it wasn't until model Draya Michele uploaded a video of him on her Instagram that he got noticed. Draya was dating Dallas Cowboys' Orlando Scandrick at the time, who had recently conversed with Welven about his crush on the "Basketball Wives" reality star. Scandrick claimed that Welven doesn't get play from the ladies, to which he replied "who don't got no b**ches?" The rest, as we all know, is history. Now WelvenDaGreat has over 950,000 followers on Instagram, and gets paid $4,500 to make appearances across the country.
Welven's videos have been reposted by several A-listers, including Kevin Hart, Russell Simmons and Martin Lawrence. The love WelvenDaGreat has received since his videos began going viral has him feeling "so good right now," and as he hosts shows and events from coast to coast, the question of if he has b**ches is now clearly obvious.
