5:41Now PlayingLegendary music manager Jerry Heller recently spoke with Prez and Mac Jay for the 73rd episode of the Murder Master Music Show, and Heller spoke about regrets he has from his days of managing NWA.
Heller told the hosts that he never thought Suge, whom he described as "a $70 a day bodyguard at Ruthless," would come between his relationship with Dr. Dre. He explained that before Suge stepped in the situation, he and Dre were really close, and Heller added that they're still cordial when they run into each other today.
During the conversation the legendary music manager also shared a story about running into a conversation that Eazy-E was having with another associate about killing Suge Knight. Heller revealed that he talked the "Boyz-n-The-Hood" emcee out of his murder plans with "logic," but Jerry admitted that he should have let Eazy carry out the killing.
