7:03Now PlayingMichel'le spoke to VladTV exclusively about first meeting Dr. Dre in the studio during the recording of the World Class Wrecking Crew's "Turn Off the Light." The famed singer said that another singer named Mona Lisa couldn't make it to the studio, which opened up an opportunity for a then 16yearold Michel'le.
During the interview Michel'le also shared her thoughts on members of N.W.A. speaking badly of manager Jerry Heller, whom she said gave everyone a chance out of the ghetto. She added, "He gambled on us. Sometimes when you gamble and you spend a lot of money, you have to make what you want back. He took a big chance on us."
